The Good Beer Co. is on a mission to demonstrate leadership and be a catalyst for innovation in sustainability in the beer industry. Great Barrier Beer is a finalist in the 2018 Banksia Sustainability Award and was one of the first Australian beers to implement biodegradable and marine life friendly 6-pack holders as an alternative to plastic. The Good Beer Co is working with the Independent Brewers Association of Australia and the wider industry to pioneer approached to sustainable packaging as part of its commitment to become carbon neutral in 2019.Funding Action on Important Issues
So far, your choice to drink good beer has supported Yes to marriage equality, a call for action on climate change and pollution to help save our Great Barrier Reef and action on animal welfare. The Good Beer Co exists to fund and support action on important issues that deserve support - starting with a conversation over a good beer.

Great Barrier Beer
Great Barrier Beer Australian Lager is helping to fund the work of the Australian Marine Conservation Society and their Fight for Our Reef campaign to call for urgent action protect the Great Barrier Reef from climate change and pollution.
Pale Tail
Pale Tail session Pale Ale is helping fund and support the work of RSPCA QLD to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need.
Love Beer
During the 2017 Postal survey on Same Sex Marriage, The Good Beer Co. was proud to join forces with Bright Brewery and the Australian Marriage Equality Campaign to promote Love Beer for a Yes vote to marriage equality and to love.
The beer supported events in all major capital cities and brought together a coalition of over 30 independent craft breweries and many more pubs, bars and venues across Australia in support of Yes.
The Great Get Together Pale Ale
In the UK, The Good Beer Co created a coalition of brewers for the first Great Get Together Pale Ale. In aid of the Jo Cox Foundation. Working with Adnams and another 16 UK breweries, the beer was brewed to help people across the UK enjoy Great Get Togethers with family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and their local community.
